As we approach the present day and this blog reaches its dreary end, we are faced with a problem like we had in the 1960s: there is rarely a broad consensus as to which songs are the absolute “worst”. Most of the #1 hits from the ‘60s are so fondly remembered that we can find only a few outliers with consistently negative critiques. Conversely, the issue with the 2010s is the overwhelming blandness that makes it difficult to sift the truly awful from the merely bad. Despite this obstacle, I’ve managed to bring you 11 more entries from that decade for our Hall of Fame.
